Originally from Haiti, Marsha has grown up both in the Caribbean and Canada. She has been studying and working as an actor for well over a decade.
Marsha was the founder and artistic director of Vancouver, BC’s only Black theatre company, Rooted Theatre.
Marsha’s selected theatre credits include the role of Mayme in Lynn Nottage’s Intimate Apparel (Grand Theatre, Arts Club Theatre); the role of Maya in her self-produced original piece Welcome Back To Harlem (Rooted Theatre/Revue Stage); she played Amina in Belleville (Company Theatre/Canadian Stage), she portrayed Susan in David Mamet’s Race, a role for which she received a Jessie Richardson Award nomination (Théatre La Seizième). Marsha also portrayed Mrs. Muller in John Patrick Shanley’s Doubt (Tsawwassen Arts Centre).
Marsha has gathered numerous TV credits over the years. Some of those include FBI (CBS), Suits (USA), Covert Affairs (CW), Nikita (CW), Fringe (FOX), Supernatural (WB), Smallville (WB) and The L Word (Showtime), not including several made for television films for the Syfy Network, Lifetime and the Hallmark Channel.
Marsha has also appeared in the following feature films: The Company You Keep (directed by Robert Redford), The Watchmen (Zack Snyder, dir.), The Exorcism of Emily Rose (Scott Derrickson, dir.), and White Noise (Geoffrey Sax, dir.).
